AugmedIT proudly announces the receipt of one of the first batches of Microsoft HoloLens 2 AR glasses in The Netherlands. This is a major milestone for the Dutch startup, as the HoloLens 1 was not available anymore and the new version brings some major improvements that can benefit both the software development of both companies and the user experiences of customers.
AugmedIT develops an AR application that enables the easy creation of patient holograms from CT/MRI scans and, with great precision, the projection and matching of these holograms on patients. Surgeons will use the Microsoft HoloLens to view and manipulate these holograms. The HoloLens 2 is the ultimate surgical tool and much more intuitive and user friendly for doctors that its predecessor.
